Last Of The Summer Wine Returns
A new series of Last Of The Summer Wine begins on BBC 1 next Sunday 25th July 2010. As previously reported this will be the last.
Russ Abbott, Brian Murphy and Burt Kwok will all reprise their new roles as the main focus of the show. Frank Thornton and Peter Sallis also return in cameo roles. This will be the 31st series and as we’ve been looking back (look out next week for Return Of The Warrior our fourth in a series of Last Of The Summer Wine Posts) it seems so senseless to axe a show that has adapted over the years and provided so much enjoyment for so many.
