Ricky Gervais’ new sitcom gets green light
BBC bigwigs have given the go ahead for Ricky Gervais’ new comedy “Life’s Too Short” after a pilot episode proved to be popular.
Set to to be aired next year on BBC2, it centres around dwarf actor Warwick Davies and his bid to cope with a world designed for regular sized people.
The show is co- written with Stephen Merchant with whom he co-wrote The Office and Extras. Gervais said “Life’s Too Short is another naturalist observational comedy, dealing with everyday problems, human foibles, and social faux pas…but with a dwarf.
