Brian Wilde had left the series at the end of series 8 and we were introduced to Seymour Utterthwaite, Foggy’s replacement in the New Year Special Uncle Of The Bride (1986). This Christmas Special was the first episode to follow, as there had been no regular series in 1986, and it was the first episode of series 9.
Summary
A slightly extended episode running at 35 minutes sees Seymour trying to persuade Compo and Clegg that the best place to see Father Christmas is on a rooftop.
