Tim Vine Not Going Out Anymore
Tim Vine has decided to call time on Not Going Out to pursue other projects. Along with Lee Mack Tim Vine is one of the show’s two main stars and fans are worrying his departure may spell the end for the popular comedy that currently pulls in around 5 million viewers. Tim is currently appearing in series 4 and the BBC have commissioned a further two series. A spokesman is reported as saying that the writers are excited about developing new characters for future series. At this point there does not seem to be any doubts over the series future, although we expect that it will all depend on whether the BBC decide to just pull the plug (which seems unlikely) and more importantly how the audience react to any new characters.
