The Plank – 1979
An all star line up come together in this thirty minute, slapstick comedy short film which was a TV re-make of an earlier 1967 film version. Although not technically a silent film it is unusual in having little spoken dialogue, instead the film is punctuated by grunts, other vocal noises and sound effects.

Summary:
When two builders find that a floorboard is missing, they buy a replacement floorboard and return with it through the streets, causing unexpected chaos.
