This comedy drama became a huge hit for for Sky TV. An independent production, from Tiger Aspect Productions ,whose credits include Mr Bean and The Vicar Of Dibley. Mount Pleasant made it’s debut on Sky one in 2011 before running for 6 series across 53 episodes.
Along the way Mount Pleasant featured an all star cast with many names from the world of comedy popping up along the way.
Summary
Set in various locations, including the cul-de-sac Lisa lives in, her workplace, local pub The Dog and Dart, and her widowed friend’s café. The series follows the day-to-day life of the main character Lisa Johnson, her husband Dan, parents, as well as neighbours, and colleagues.
