Naked Video, 1986
From the creator of a Kick Up The Eighties comes this popular sketch show that ran for five series totalling thirty episodes between 1986 and 1991.
The series was a spin off from another popular sketch show that had began airing on BBC Radio Scotland in 1981: Naked Radio.
By 1985, Naked Radio proved so popular with listeners that the cast put on a series of stage plays at that year’s Edinburgh Fringe festival. Creator Colin Gilbert realised the series had potential for television and Naked Video was created.
Both the Television and Radio versions continued to air until they were cancelled in 1991.
In 2000 the cast reunited for a theatre show and radio broadcast,
