An Audience With Freddie Starr – 1996

Freddie Starr was one of Britain’s best loved entertainers whose career has had it’s fair share of highs and lows, here’s a highlight showcasing Freddie doing what he does best making people laugh.

At the time of it’s broadcast it was the highest ever ratings for An Audience With… show and subsequently Freddie would come back for more.

Summary

Freddie Starr takes questions from a slightly nervous star studded studio audience.

He walks among them seemingly throwing maggots over Faith Brown as he explains he’s taken up fishing.

He enlists the help of Mr Motivator to power the studio lights from his exercise bike and exacts his revenge on a blindfolded Garry Bushnall by pretending to throw knives at him.

In the show’s finale, a short compilation of musical numbers with Elvis Presley’s famous backing singers The Jordinaires, Starr shows off his vocal skills.
