From the writers of Birds Of A Feather, although at the time this show went out Birds Of A Feather hadn’t even hatched (sorry couldn’t resist). Despite this two writers who would go on to create one of Britain’s best loved sitcoms are joined by some familiar names in this comedy drama.
The series initially produced by ATV ran for four series between 1982 and 1985 of twenty nine episodes. In 1995, Meridian Television revived the show with a few changes most notably moving the time period forward ten years. This ran for one series only of twelve episodes.
The name of the series is a wordplay on the title of the popular 1908 song “Shine on, Harvest Moon!”.
