The Last Python Goes Global

It’s getting closer, the big Monty Python reunion shows will soon be upon us.  An immediate sell out, fans were delighted when on BBC Radio 2’s Simon Mayo Drive time show, Michael Palin announced one last date, of course it sold out immediately.

Today in a phone call to the same show, fellow python Terry Gillam announced another surprise.  The very last show on 20th July 2014 will be simulcast in 450 cinemas across the country giving fans who can’t get tickets or get down to London to be involved.  In addition the simulcast will also be screened across 1,500 cinemas worldwide.

Terry Gillam also announced that there were still some tickets for the O2 that had been deliberately held back to prevent touting.  All the Monty Python albums will also be re-released with Gillam working on new artwork.
