Created by Keith Waterhouse, this ITV sitcom was the predecessor to The Upchat Connetion and often gets forgotten about.

It ran for a series of seven episodes in 1977.

Summary

Meet Mike Upchat.  An unsuccessful novelist who lives out of a railway station locker.

Whilst Mike may not be a success as a writer he certainly has the gift of the Gab and changes his life story on a regular basis to impress different women.  Effectively  re-inventing himself to score.
