Till Death Do Us Part – Peace And Goodwill – 1966
Till Death Do Us Part, Christmas 1966. This episode was considered to be lost/incomplete, until parts were found and the episode pieced back together.
Summary
Christmas with the Garnett family. As they gather to celebrate Christmas Alf berates Rita and Mike for only giving him ‘Whiffs’ as opposed to real cigars and second-rate socks whilst they have bought Else a dress and accuses his atheist son of hypocrisy.
Alf reminds Rita of a gift of a doll’s house when she was younger, but she cannot recall it. Perhaps because Alf fell downstairs and broke it whilst he was drunk.
Even the Carroll singers are in line for some attention from Alf, he’s ready for then with a vase of dirty water but has to drink it when he sees the vicar heading the singers.
