Potter, 1979

This largely forgotten classic from the pen of Roy Clarke, ran for three series between 1979 and 1983, Potter was Arthur Lowe’s last work, he died in 1982.

As plans for a third series were so advanced the part of Potter was played by Robin Bailey.  At the end of series three it was discontinued.

Potter is a forgotten classic that seldom gets repeated and has yet to make it’s debut on DVD. It is about time that this little gem resurfaced on the likes of G.O.L.D. and was released to DVD.  Come on BBC !
