Some Mothers Do Ave ‘Em, Scottish Dancing, 1978

New Year, New Hobby, How About Scottish Country Dancing, Frank Spencer style?

Scottish Dancing was the third episode of the third and as it would happen the final series of this classic sitcom.

Frank becomes jealous of Betty’s attention towards Roland Quincy, a member of their Scottish dance group.

As chairman of the local Liberal party, Roland, with Frank as secretary, stages a performance of Scottish Country Dancing for a visiting Scottish MP MacDougall.  The display is to be given by able dancers – but not Frank.

Unfortunately, whilst greeting the MP at the railway station Frank causes an accident disabling Roland and so he gets to stand in with surprising results in more ways than one.
