Life’s Too Short, 2011

During the filming of the hit show ‘Extras’, Dwarf actor Warwick Davies came up with an idea.  A comedy about a Dwarf.

Working with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant the idea was developed into what became Gervais and Merchant’s third hit comedy series for the BBC.

Life’s Too Short ran for just one series of seven episodes in 2011.  A one hour special aired two years later in 2013 bringing the show to an end.

Warwick Davis runs a small person talent agency,  His character is a twisted version of himself, quite conceited, arrogant and manipulative.

In the series Warwick is doing this documentary to improve his career as he is going through a messy divorce and needs the money. In an attempt to make more he bugs Ricky and Stephen to see if they have any work for him.
