An Audience With has been around for many years now (30 +), but in more recent years the format has been dominated by music rather than comedy. However in 2005, one of the more popular comics of recent times – Al Murray took his place in front of a celebrity audience with his pub landlord character.
The show proved a massive success and consequently Al Murray became one of only five comedians, to host more than once.
