French and Saunders had made their TV series debut in 1987, by 1988 they had two series under their belt and it was time for the first festive outing.
Surprisingly, although over the years there have been many specials there’s only been two festive editions.
For this post we are looking back 37 years, seems like yesterday, to that first festive offering.
