Worzel’s Back !
It seems it’s not just Gavin and Stacey returning to our screens this Christmas. The iconic scarecrow last played by the late Jon Pertwee returns to our TV screens this Christmas.
This time Worzel will be played by Actor Mackenzie Crook and not only has The Office and Pirates of the Caribbean star taken the lead role in the show, but he’s written and directed it too !

The show is based on the books by Arksey-born author Barbara Euphan Todd and tells the scrapes and adventures of a comical scarecrow and his friendship with local children.
