It has been reported that the BBC are to bring back Comedy Playhouse, the iconic series that brought us Steptoe and Son, Last Of The Summer Wine, Till Death Us Do Part, Are You Being Served and the list goes on.

We’ve said this since we started, comedy is now huge, possibly bigger than it’s ever been with comedians selling out entire arenas.  Such is the buzz surrounding comedy TV channels are falling over themselves to commission new comedy, but it seems not enough writers want to take a risk on BBC1.
