Cheers was the hit US sitcom, developed and created by: Charles brothers—Glen and Les—and James Burrows, it hit UK TV screens in 1983 courtesy of Channel 4. The show has been a huge success on both sides of the Atlantic and ran for eleven series, clocking up a mammoth two hundred and seventy episodes.
