Happy Ever After was the fourth episode of Comedy Playhouse’s fourteenth season in 1974, by now Tom Sloan’s idea had been running for 12 years. After the successful pilot Happy Ever After would go on to run for 5 series.
Summary
Meet terry and June Fletcher. Their family have grown up and flown the nest.
For the first time in 23 years there’ll be no children around the house – but the unaccustomed freedom brings its problems. And new house guests in the form of Aunt Lucy and her talking minor bird.
