Seance In A Wet Rag and Bone Yard would be the last regular Steptoe and Son episode.
Closing series 8 there would be a final Christmas Special later in the year and then Steptoe and Son would drift into sitcom history.
There’s a special guest appearance from Patricia Routledge as Madame Fontana and some classic lines in a fitting end (almost) to a classic comedy.
Summary
Harold is furious when Albert returns home late one night. When he tells Harold he’s been to a spiritualist meeting and who he’s been talking to Harold pours scorn.
It’s not long before Harold unravels what he thinks is going on. Albert advises Harold that they are holding a seance in their home.
After what Harold breaks up what he sees as a set up there’s a surprise voice from his past to end the episode.
