Miranda The Christmas Specials, 2014
It’s become a habit and Miranda was no exception.
Miranda had become a hugely popular TV sitcom that had come to an end after three series but had ended with a cliff hanger, so it was expected that at some point there would be a series four. However Miranda Hart put that idea down when she announced there would be no fourth series. Hart later announced that the two Christmas specials would be the end to the sitcom. She said the end was “going to be really emotional”, but added that she didn’t want her sitcom character “to keep falling over and making a fool of herself”
So in Christmas 2014 and New Year 2015 with two special episodes Miranda became the latest sitcom to bow out over Christmas.
