Secret Army was a BBC Drama made with the Belgian national broadcaster BRT.
A huge hit with audiences of the day Secret Army ran for three series notching up forty three episodes along the way. For many this is seen as the blueprint for the hit sitcom Allo! Allo!
Summary
The series tells the story of a fictional Belgian resistance movement in German occupied Belgium during the World War Two. The resistance is dedicated to returning Allied airmen, usually having been shot down by the Luftwaffe, to Great Britain.
