The Paper Lads, 1977
The Paper Lads is a kids TV series produced by then ITV regional franchise Tyne Tees Television.
The show ran for 2 series of seven episodes each between 1977 and 1979.
The signature tune of the series, “Back Home Once Again”, was performed by prog rock band Renaissance (of Northern Lights fame) and was re-recorded as a full-length song on their 1978 album A Song For All Seasons.
Summary
The Paper Lads revolved around the adventures of a group of newspaper delivery boys and a girl in the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
