Anyone For Dennis? was a one off TV version of the hit West End stage play of the same name. Based on the hilarious ‘Dear Bill’ letters for satirical magazine: Private Eye.
Starring the writer himself alongside some well known names from comedy at the time, Anyone For Dennis was one of the hits of the ITV network’s 1982 Christmas season.
Summary
While Maggie is away at a Euro-Conference, Denis invites two of his drinking chums for a weekend of mischief at Chequers. Things start to go seriously wrong, however, when she returns unexpectedly and mistakes her husband’s friends for EEC Commissioners!
