Davro’s Sketch Pad, 1989
Bobby Davro had found fame in the early 1980’s after an appearance on Live From Her Majesty’s. Throughout the 1980’s Davro would front a number of his own shows including: Bobby Davro On The Box and Bobby Davro’s TV weekly.
In the late 1980’s he went on to make two more shows for TVS (Television South). However by this time the comic’s brand of humour was becoming less popular with audiences as ratings began to slide.
Dropping the Bobby in favour of just his surname Davro’s Sketch Pad ran for just six episodes and would be the first of two series he made for TVS.
