However Bootle Saddles was a BBC Sitcom that never quite took off running for 6 episodes over 1 series in 1984.
Summary
Set in ‘Apache Wells’, a Wild West theme park run by northerner Percy “Call me Jesse!” James, his wife and daughter Betty.
The series revolved around a group of Wild West fanatics who spend their spare time dressing up and recreating the American frontier.
