Bridging the gap between series 2 and 3 came this extended Easter Special. Running to 40 minutes as opposed to the usual 30, the extra 10 minutes wasn’t the only extras as the regular cast are joined by Kenny Lynch, Jimmy Tarbuck and Ray Barrett.
Sadly from the regular cast, writer Johnny Speight and the celebrities only Jimmy Tarbuck is still with us.

Summary
As the evening draws in and Alf gets drunker, three celebrity faces arrive at the local. Whilst Alf struggles to remember their names, the celebrities entertain the regulars with a few songs and jokes – at Alf’s expense, naturally!
