Dead Ringers started out life as a Radio Series before making it to television.  Devised by producer Bill Dare and developed with Jon Holmes, Andy Hurst and Simon Blackwell, it ran for eight series between 2000 and 2007.   The series returned to BBC Radio 4 in 2014 and is still running today.
