It’s thirty years since comedy legend Kenneth Williams died.  we look back at the 2006 drama based on his diaries.

Fantabulosa! was a one off television play about the life and times of carry on and comedy actor Kenneth Williams.

It achieved viewing figures of 860,000  including timeshift (recording, catch up and plus one viewing), making it by far the most popular BBC Four broadcast of March 2006.

This one off drama earned it’s star Michael Sheen a Royal Television Society award for Best Male Actor and the drama itself was nominated for two BAFTA’s.

Summary

The drama portrayed the life and times of Kenneth Williams as documented in his own diaries.
