Game Of Thrones, 2011

Every now and then a piece of TV launches onto screens and just hits the spot becoming a global phenonomin.  That’s exactly what happened with Game Of Thrones.

Game Of Thrones is an American Fantasy Drama, adapted from A Song of Ice and Fire, the series of  fantasy novels by George R.R. Martin. The series takes it’s name from the first novel which is A Game Of Thrones.

The series is due to end in 2018, by which time it will have run for seventy three episodes over eight series.

The show’s Episodes from the shows have won numerous awards including three Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series.


In the mythical continent of Westeros, several powerful families are fighting to take control of the Seven Kingdoms.

When conflict erupts in the Kingdoms of Men, an ancient enemy rises once again posing a threat to all.

Elsewhere, the last heirs of a recently usurped dynasty plot to take back their homeland from across the Narrow Sea.
