Man About The House, The Movie, 1974
As we have seen with many of the decade’s most popular sitcoms, there was a big screen outing. Man About The House was no exception. Although many fans of the TV series felt it’s big screen outing was a let down with little in the way of storyline, it was more of a will they or won’t they? between Robin and Chrissy.
When an unscrupulous property developer wants to flatten the street to make way for new buildings, things do not go to plan. Whilst householder George Roper is happy to take the compensation money and run, his wife Mildred and their lodgers are not so easily moved and join with other residents to take a stand and keep things as they are, finally winning the day.
