The Big Night In, 2020
Possibly the biggest comedy story in the news at the moment is the coming together of BBC’s Children In Need and Comic Relief on Thursday 23rd April.
A one off night of entertainment to lift peoples’ spirits during these difficult times as well as raising funds for UK charities. The money raised by the project will be split equally between the two charities.
We are told to expect big surprises, live performances from artistes’ homes.
Among the line up will be all new sketches from the likes of: A Little Britain and the return of The Vicar Of Dibley. Other comics taking part include Peter Kay and Catherine Tate.
The show goes out at 7.30pm Thursday night and will be presented by Zoe Ball, Paddy McGuiness, Matt Baker, Sir Lenny Henry and Davina McCall.
