Face to face was an ongoing series of insightful and probing interviews with a range of well known people of the time.  It appeared irregularly over 35 interviews between 1959 and 1962.

February 1960 it was the turn of comedian Tony Hancock.  For many Hancock fans the interview was considered to have been a contributed to his ultimate self-destruction as it was assumed to have enhanced his inclination to be self-critical.

Summary

Tony Hancock gives a deep and thoughtful insight showing a very different Hancock to that of his comic persona.
