Blue Heaven, 1994

Blue Heaven made it’s debut as a one off pilot episode as part of  Channel 4’s Bunch Of Five series back in 1992.  Frank Skinner was joined by a host of well known names such as Bill Bailey. Philip Glenister and Beryl Reid as guest stars.

Two years later in 1994 the channel screened a full series of six episodes.

Frank Sandford has high hopes for his pop duo: Blue Heaven.  However his home life is less than satisfactory, his Father, Jim, is a local hard man whose favourite son is in prison, whilst his Mother can only be described as the perfect match.

Despite the lack of parental support Frank is determined to succeed as a pop star and that his favourite football team, West Bromwich Albion, will win the cup!
