Budget Day, Satire Style
Well it’s that time of year and sadly there’s no spitting image or any real biting satire to give chancellor Jeremy Hunt a hard time. Thankfully past chancellors have had their turn at the hands of satire.
Just for the fun of it we’ve picked some random chancellors and watched how the satirists dealt with them. Then as a bonus we go back to ancient history and watch a certain Francis Howerd react to a budget from long, long ago. Looking at comedy now it does make you wonder are we too scared to laugh?
