Doctor In The House – The TV Series – 1969

Based on a set of books and a film of the same name, this TV series was the first of eight that followed the books of Richard Gorden.

Doctor In The House introduced us to a young Barry Evans who would later star in another hit ITV comedy Mind Your Language.  The show ran for twenty six episodes over two series between 1969 and 1970.

Summary

The plot revolved around the trials and misadventures of  a group of medical students at St Swithin’s hospital in London.
