Holding The Baby was an ITV sitcom that ran for 13 episodes over 2 series.  During series 1 the show had an average audience of 6.85 million viewers, this made it 1997’s 16th-highest rated sitcom.

The show featured an early appearance from a young David Tennant. It was also re-made for the US market, but failed to catch on lasting just one series.

Summary

The  series follows Gordon Muir, a middle-aged man who finds himself left alone to raise his baby (hence Holding The Baby) after his wife runs off with a 21-year old.
