Well it is half Just William was a British television series based on the bookls of the same name by Richard Compton.

The show ran for two series, managing 27 episodes between 1977 and 1978.

Screened on ITV it was one of those Sunday teatime shows aimed at a family audience.

The series starred child actors Adrian Dannatt as William and a very young Bonnie Langford as Violet, alongside well established film star Diana Dors who played Mrs Bott.

Summary

William and his friends constantly get into mischief, defying adults and Violet Elizabeth Bott despite the trouble it causes, showing that boys will be boys.
