Broadcast two months after the end of the third series A Dickens Of A Christmas claimed a prime transmission slot on Christmas Day.
Summary
Hester and William are eagerly awaiting their first Christmas with their grandson. However when Emma and Peter suddenly announce they have made other plans, excitement turns to disappointment.
Hester has made big plans bought in a whole load of food and drink, what are they going to do? A party seems to be the order of the day.
Neighbour Sonia is happy to help bringing husband John, and Guy will join any party to be close to Nancy. William even invites his secretary and all turns out well when the Fields enjoy one of their best Christmas celebrations!
