Kiss Me Kate, 1998

Kiss Me Kate was a BBC sitcom from the late 1990’s.

Starring Amanda Holden alongside Men Behaving Badly star Caroline Quentin.  It ran for three series notching up twenty episodes.

The sitcom made a brief return in 2001 for a special Comic Relief sketch.

Summary

Kiss Me Kate follows the everyday life of a counsellor: Kate, who finds herself not only managing her clients’ problems, but also helping with her neighbours problems and unsuccessful business partner, Douglas.

During the series, both Craig and Douglas fall for Kate. Mel and Craig become romantically involved, but Douglas continues to be in love with Kate.  Then just to complicate things Kate falls for Douglas’s brother, Iain Cameron, a successful cardiac surgeon.
