The show typically comprised three segments (ie three cartoons) Lippy The Lion, Wally Gator and Touche Turtle.
Summary
Lippy The Lion And Hardy Har Har cartoons revolve around ever-hopeful Lippy’s attempts to conduct a get rich quick scheme with the reluctant Hardy serving as a foil.
Whatever the consequences were to Lippy’s schemes, Hardy ends up getting the worst of it — a fact he always seems to realize ahead of time, with his moans of “Oh me, oh my, oh dear”.
Although the intro shows them in a jungle setting proper for such beasts, most of the cartoons’ stories are set in urban areas.
Wally Gator cartoons revolve around a happy go lucky alligator called Wally who lives in a city zoo. Plots revolve around Wally’s attempts to escape the zoo and his keeper Mr Twiddle in order to check out life on the outside.
Touche Turtle and Dum Dum cartoons. Touché Turtle and his dim-witted sheepdog sidekick Dum Dum are a pair of heroic fencers who battle villains and heroically save kings, queens, and others in distress. Touché is the brave (if not entirely competent) leader brandishing his trusty sword and exclaiming his catchphrase “Touché away!” Dum Dum is more of a simple-minded follower.
