Golden Hair, 1975
The last one for this year as we remember some of the rubbish we watched as kids during the 1970’s kids summer holidays.
This particular show was originally a 1973 Czechoslovakian film entitled Zlatovlásk (Princess Goldilocks I believe).
In 1975 the BBC chopped it into three parts re-titled it Golden Hair with English over dub. It was broadcast in three weekly parts over the kids summer holidays.
Summary
The King receives a snake as a gift from an old woman that gives the ability to understand animal’s language.
The King asks his servant to cook the snake, and forbids him to taste it. He disobeys, and tastes it.
As a punishment, the King forces him to leave the castle to bring him back the princess Goldilocks.
