Married For Life, 1996
Married For Life was a UK remake of the hit US sitcom: Married With Children.
A joint production between Central Television and Columbia Pictures Television, it ran for one series of seven episodes in 1996.
Episodes of Married For Life were effectively re-works of episodes from the first series of Married With Children.
The series starred Russ Abbot and featured an early appearance from Rob Brydon.
Summary
Following much the same premise as it’s US counterpart only the names have changed.
Married For Life follows the day to day lives of the particularly dysfunctional Butler family, lead by selfish shoe salesman Ted.
