In the final part of our Harvest Festival posts we’ve saved the best till last as we drop in on the Goods as they try to bring in their harvest.
Backs To The Wall was the seventh and final episode of the first series first shown in 1975.
Summary
It’s time for the Goods to get in their harvest. Unfortunately Tom hurts his back and a storm ruins the garden. They can’t turn to Margo and Jerry as they are in Kenya on safari.
They try to get help bringing in the harvest from the local pub, but get nowhere, so they are relieved when the Leadbetters come home early, as Margo couldn’t stand Africa.
Can they help? Jerry has hurt his foot but none the less he and Margo agree to help out and even Margo helps out as only Margo can with hilarious results.
