Tony Britton Has Died, Aged 95
Sitcom veteran Tony Britton has died at the age of 95.
His daughter presenter Fern Britton tweeted that her Father had died “early this morning” (Sunday 22nd December 2019).
Tony Britton will perhaps be best remembered for his starring roles in two hugely successful sitcoms: Robin’s Nest and Don’t Wait Up. However he did star in a number of other sitcoms such as: The Private Lives Of Edward Whiteley, Don’t Tell Father and Father Dear Father.
