Summary

Meet Izzy Comyn, an English teacher at an inner-London secondary school.

Izzy is juggling man problems: a somewhat timid character by nature and essentially single, she’s engaged in an affair with Michael, a married man.  Hopeless, haplessly in love with him, Izzy constantly daydreams of their possible life together.

Meanwhile Dick, the school’s pottery teacher, is quietly in love with Izzy.  Sadly for Dick – Izzy views him, at best, with a friendly indifference.

Bumbling from one romantic entanglement to the next, will Izzy ever find true love?
