Patron Of The Arts was the sixth episode in the second series of Yes Prime Minister. Here we see Hacker juggling budgets for The Arts. This episode featured a gust appearance from John Bird who would go ono to feature in many political satires.
Summary
The Prime-Minister’s (Jim Hacker) invitation to the British Theatre Awards dinner becomes something of a hot potato when the size of the grant to the Arts Council is revealed.
