Brief Encounters, 2016
Brief Encounters was a British comedy-drama series loosely based on Gold Group International CEO Jacqueline Gold’s 1995 memoir: Good Vibrations, that detailed the beginnings of the Ann Summers retail company, as seen through the eyes of four women who see the potential of finding happiness and fulfillment by selling lingerie and sex toys to women in the privacy of their own homes.
The series was an outside production for ITV and ran for just one series of six episodes in 2016.
Summary
Set in the early 1980’s the lives of four ordinary women, their husbands, mothers, families and community are about to be turned around when the women become Ann Summers party plan saleswomen.
